"Tzuna, will you explain this all to me now?" Caleb asked the white wolf. "Yes, I will, but we must be in a safe place first." she replied. While running, Tzuna had opened a portal to what she had called the spirit world and had fled inside. Now they were running to a cave, Caleb could see it clearly in his mind. They approached the cave, "Now, will you explain?" he asked. The she-wolf curled around him, "In the begining there were two worlds both connected. Our world is now in great peril from an evil we can't see. We who fight them had to reach out to the material world to find the humans that the others had bonded with. We are now connected, what you feel, I feel and vice versa." she continued to explain. "So, what does any of this have to do with me?" he asked.

Jennifer followed Tyerra through the woods, unable to see exactly where they were going. She trusted Tyerra, though. Soon they were in another place entirely.
"Where are we?" Jen asked. They were in a long grassfield with forest behind them and a lake before them.
"This is the spirit world," Tyerra answered. The white tiger settled down in the grass and Jen sat beside her.
"This just...doesn't seem real," Jen said, looking about.
"But it is," Tyerra replied, looking unblinking out at the smooth water. Any who saw them there would be amazed by the similarity between the two. Black and white hair, ice-blue eyes, sleek build. They were of kindred spirits.

Mica looked at the great black panther as she walked closer to her. She noticed the panthers eyes. They were the same as hers. Deep green and able to look into the soul and heart of others to see the truth. She lowered her head as the smile came across her lips. "Kyra. I am happy to see you. I thought you were just a dream until I saw the bond mark."
"Dear one, it is good to see you too. Follow me. There is much to discuss and others to find." Kyra led Mica through a portal, taking her into the spirit world. Mica followed willingly as her people had always believed in spirit guides who walked upon the earth with them. She was not afraid but honored to have been chosen. Kyra led her to a cave. From within she heard voices. "Kyra, who are they?" Kyra looked at her as she spoke softly. "Others like us." Mica waited outside the cave with Kyra. Even in the spirit world it was madness to enter a cave blindly, especially when you knew others were inside.

Caleb and Tzuna continued talking for a little while more. "I smell someone." Caleb said, using his new abilities. "It's ok, it's only Kyra. Kyra, come in, we must talk." Tzuna said.

Kyra let out a low growl acknowledging Tzuna. "Come with me Mica. There's some here you should meet." Kyra padded softly into the cave. Upon seeing Tzuna, she made her way to the wolf and placed her forehead against Tzuna's. "Well met Tzuna! This is Mica, my dear one."
Mica bent low and cautiously entered into the cave. Her eyes adjusted to the darkness of the cave. Her vision was sharp as if it were daylight. Her green eyes flashed as she looked around the cave, her long black hair flowed behind her as she moved with the grace of a large cat. Mica looked to see a man sitting with a wolf. She bowed her head slightly in greeting to them. "Hello." the word sounded stupid as it left her lips. She blushed slightly as she looked to Kyra. "Why have you brought us here?"

"Hi. I'm Caleb, partner of Tzuna." he said. He noticed that the girl moved with the grace of the panther she was following. "Do I look like that?" Caleb asked Tzuna. "Yes, you are taking on my features even as we speak. Your eyes are well adjusted, your senses are sharper, and your begining to gain the muzzle of a wolf." she replied. Caleb let her acknowledge the panther, and the girl sat down ready to listen.

Mica looked as Caleb greeted her. She smiled softly looking into his eyes. Her green eyes looked deeply. He heard a good heart and a bright soul. She turned to Kyra who nodded slightly to her. "Mica we brought you here because we can help each other." Mica looked confused. She looked to the great wolf seated near Caleb. "Tzuna, explain please. What is it you wish us to do? What is going on?" She looked to Caleb to see if he had any clue then turned her attention back to Tzuna.

"There is a war going on that affects both worlds. We are the good side, we must fight the bad side." both Caleb and Tzuna said at once. The continued to explain, sometimes speaking at the same time, other times taking turns. "Will you help us?" they asked together.

Jen and Tyerra sat together on the grass for a while, then the two of them got up by unspoken consent and walked for a ways. Tyerra led Jen to a cave where others were inside. Jen shied away a little at the strangers, but Tyerra went inside confidantly.
"Come on, Jen. There are some here I believe you should meet."

Mica looked at Kyra. She looked deeply within the eyes of Caleb and Tzuna. She was not one to trust easily but there was truth in their words. "Kyra, will we begin to speak as they do?" Kyra lowered her head then looked up into Mica's eyes. "Yes dear one. We shall do that and more as our bond grows."
Mica turned to Caleb and Tzuna. "I will help you. Tell me what to do."

"We need to gather as many people as we can for our side." he said, laughing at how he and Tzuna were talking. Suddenly, a strange scent wafted in. "Name yourselves before you pay." Caleb shouted.

Mica jumped to her feet nearly hitting her head on a small stone outcrop. She cursed softly under her breath. Her hand went swiftly to the grip of her blade. Kyra looked at her, shaking her head softly. "Mica it's okay. They would be more like us coming to gather." Mica looked at Kyra and slowly sat back upon the ground. Her hand remained upon the dagger. Until she could see into someone's eyes, see the truth within them, she had no friends, only possible foes.

Tyerra continued on in, despite the humans' obvious caution of her.
"Hello, Tzuna, Kyra," the white tiger said. She stretched, then looked to the two other humans in the cave. "Care to introduce me?"
Jen slowly followed Tyerra in the cave, trusting Tyerra. She didn't like how the others were watching her and Tyerra.

Mica watched as the girl and the black and white tiger entered the cave. Kyra nodded to the tiger as she made her way to briefly touch the tigers forehead with her own in greeting. She padded back to Mica as she spoke to Tyerra and the girl with her. "This is Mica and the man is Caleb. They are friends of our cause." She looked to the girl with Tyerra. "I am Kyra and this is Tzuna. Welcome child." Kyra purred in welcome to the girl as Mica gently rubbed behind the mighty cats ears.

Tyerra purred as she walked up to Mica and placed her nose on her forhead. She turned and did the same for Caleb.
"I am very please to have you both here for our cause. This is Jennifer," she said, turning back to the girl with her, "She is young, but I believe with training she will be a great addition. Come on Jen, don't be shy." The girl slowly approached the others, keeping near Tyerra at all times. She smiled and forced out a weak, "hi."
