Bruce came walking up to the woman who had fallen, reaching down a hand to help her up.
"Are you alright?" he asked, trying to ignore the sight of Gallea's enormous body walking around the store. He smiled to himself, trying not to let himself laugh aloud. "You took quite the fall." He noticed a white tiger behind her, but paid no attention to it.

Caleb kept trying to hear the wings, then a man reached out and helped the girl up. He swore that he looked straight at Tyerra, but he didn't make a move to run, so he dismissed.

Bruce looked up to see someone looking at him, but then the man's attention went back to woman. 'Gallea, what's going on?'
'The woman you helped up is like you. Her animal is a bat. The man looking at her is on opposite sides. The tiger belongs to either him or his friend there." Bruce nodded slightly, then looked back at the woman.
"You going to be okay?" he asked, taking a polite step back to give her room.

"Yeah," Veronica said, taking his hand and standing up, "I'm fine. I just...tripped." She looked over the man who had helped her up. He was a big guy, with short brown hair and matching brown eyes.
Cute, she decided, giving him a smile.
"Thanks for coming to my rescue," she told him.
Ronnie... Basilius said from his hiding place, You really should stop flirting and pay more attention to what's going on around you. Veronica looked around and noticed that there was a huge horse in the store now.
Whoa. This place is looking more like a zoo than a mall now.
Yes, it is. Be careful around these people. You never know who's bonded or not. I believe the man you're talking with right now is bonded to that horse.
Do you recognize him?
No...I don't think he knows Tyerra either, so he may be an ally. They stopped talking and Veronica returned her attention to the man who had helped her. She lightly flipped her hair off her shoulder and smiled.
"I really should get back to work," she said.

Bruce smiled at her, noting how flirtatious she was. He laughed inside, though he kept his external appearance normal.
'Bruce, be careful. She is bonded to an animal that I've never met and may not be on our side. Be careful.'
'I will, Gallea. Don't worry. Besides, I'm leaving.' Bruce waved his hand in front of his face slightly, as if blowing away her thanks.
"don't worry bout it," he said aloud. "People trip all the time. And if you didn't notice, there are a few other people that were here to help." He looked around, his eyes stopping for but a second on the tiger. "Well, I'll leave you to work, Veronica. It was nice to meet you. And watch your step." He smiled at her turning to the man who he had seen before. He walked over to him, calmly and casually. "Meet me outside," he said under his breath as he passed the man.

Vender ways walking to the cashier to purchase a shirt when he heard someone fall. He changed direction to that cashier and noticed many animals around him. He was sure these had to be spirit animals. He gave a fake cough and asked,"Can I pay for this."

Veronica looked to around herself carefully for a few minutes, seeing what all animals were in the mall at the moment.
They really shoud stay outside. Someone could get hurt. She turned to the man who approached her now, intending to purchase a shirt.
"Yeah," she said, "Sure, here, it's $23.50."

Bruce walked outside, Gallea close beside him.
'What are you doing, Bruce?' the Spirit horse asked. 'They could be dangerous.'
'I know, but so can I. They don't know me, and I don't know them. Plus, I have you. You can be intimidating sometimes you know.' Bruce laughed within himself. 'We will wait to see what happens. And we need allies, Gallea.'

Veronica gave the man an unbelieving glance.
"You see this thing?" she asked, pointing to a device on the counter, "It's a card reader. I reads credit cards. It can also read debit cards." Normally, she wasn't this irritable, but with meeting Basilius' worst enemy and being pounced on by a wolf, along with seeing a bunch of animals wandering around the store, and all this happening when she felt like she should be in a dead sleep, she wasn't feeling to perky.

Veronica stared at him, shaking her head unbelievingly.
"Yes, we take credit," she snarled. She was not having a good day. She stifled a yawn and waited for the guy to pay. Her shift wouldn't end for another twenty minutes.
I just want to go home and sleep. Who's idea was it that everyone needed to be up during the day, anyway? she wondered. Basilius agreed with her.

He was shocked the girl threw off his gaze but thought it do to the irritable nature of this women. He gave her his credit card and smiled all the while just to get on her nerves. He looked around and saw Mendus a little way down the isle. He motioned with his head for the lion to come on.

Veronica took the card and swiped it, then handed it and the shirt back to him. She slumped against the edge of the check-out counter, glad that no one else was in line. She finally let out a huge yawn, nearly ready to go to sleep right there. She lifted her head and looked back up at the guy.
"Is there anything else I can help you with?" she asked.

Bruce waited patiently outside, looking around at the people walking by. He smiled occasionally when a person would walk through Gallea and keep going. He looked up into the eaves of the building, seeing a small bat hanging there. He looked closely at it, recognizing a feeling.
'It's a spirit bat,' he told Gallea.
