Earth was roaming through the Spirit woods and happened upon Doug. "This is my chance to test the Cougar." she thought. "Doug, it is now your time to be tested in Strength, are you ready?" Earth asked.

Doug was a little nervous, he didn't think that he was all to strong, just quick and agile. He finally mustered up the courage and said humbly, "Yes, I am ready", as he lowered his head in greeting.

"Good." Earth said. She stamped her feet and both she and Doug were teleported to a clearing. "Here's where your trial will begin. Good luck to you." Earth said, as Mica was teleported into the clearing, along with 100 shadow figures. "Doug, save me!" she cried.

Doug grimaced as they were teleported to a clearing. Mica was teleported in the distance with 100 shadow figures around her. "Mica! Mica! I am coming, don't worry!" Doug said as he ran towards her and the figures. Doug began to knock off the shadow figures one by one as he ran towards Mica. They got stronger the closer he got to her. Finally one of the knock Doug to the ground with such force that it sent him swirling backwards. Doug felt the anger rising within him as he got back up. His eyes turning red as the ran towards the figure knocking it to the ground and breaking it's neck. "Mica, hold on!" Doug screamed.

"Yes, keep going to the girl." Earth thought. At a roar and 100 more shadows appeard between Doug and Earth. "These are stronger still." she thought.

Doug almost fell out as he saw 100 more shadows appear, these even more stronger than the last. "I'll never get to her," He thought for a brief second. Then he heard her scream for help again, sending a jolt of anger and adrenaline running through his veins. "I am coming Mica!!!" Doug screamed as he began running faster now, swinging in every direction, knocking one down after the other, running faster and faster, like Salgou was with him, but he wasn't. He jumped higher and higher breaking necks and slicing through the shadow figures. His eyes became gold like that of the cougar as the anger shown within them. "Mica, hang in there!!"

Doug fought and fought as the shadows started falling quicker and quicker. The last ten shadwos finally stood before him hissing, "We're strongest of all, can you beat us and our partners?" and with that, shadows of dogs and cats became apparent and threw themselves at Doug.

The animals, cats and dogs alike, threw themselves at Doug simultaneously, knocking him to the ground with tremendous force. The dogs and cats gnawed at his skin, biting him left and right, scratching at every moment. Doug tried so hard to fight them off, but to no avail. "This is it," Doug thought to himself. "I will never get to Mica." He said as a tear filled with all the love in his heart fell to the ground. Suddenly the love in Dougs heart gave him a new found strength, unlike anything he had ever felt before. "That's it! Love is stronger that hatred and anger." Doug said as he jerked up, knocking animals 20 feet in every direction. He looked at Mica deeply as he loved her beautiful sight. "I will save you Mica, I promise." Doug said as he began to run towards the 10 shadow figures left. "Ahhhhhhhhhh!!!!" He screamed as he got closer.

Mica smiled at Doug as he reached the last ten shadows. "Need saving, I was talking to them, not you! I never want to see you again, DIE!" she screamed.

Doug was so confused when she said this. "Then why the hell did you yell Help?!" Doug screamed as the fury shown in his eyes. Something wasn't right with this, Mica never acted like that towards him. "Earth! What is going on?"

"I yelled for HIM to help me." she said as a shadow moved to wrap it's arms around her waist. "Shall I kill him love, or do you want the honor?" it asked in a raspy voice.

Doug looked at the shadow figure that had wrapped it's arms around Mica's waist, and she was willing. "But, but what is going on? I....I'll kill you, you bastard!" Doug yelled at the figure hoping to anger it.

"You'll do no such thing my friend. I'll be right back my pet." the shadow said, kissing Mica in a long passionate embrace. "This will be fun." it said.

Doug saw as the shadow figure kissed the "not so real" Mica and walked towards him. He knew that this wasn't completely real, but still felt the emotions for Mica that she could only give him. "You are no friend of mine!" Doug yelled as the power within him began to increase dramatically as his love for Mica, and his rage merged. He raced towards the being with tremendous force as his anger surfaced.

The shadow gave a quick smirk and rushed head long into battle. "Bring it on little guy." he said. Mica laughed a maniacal laugh and rushed after the shadow, making sure that she wasn't seen.
