Mica ran to where she had last sense Caleb. There was no sign of him. She began searching the area for any sign of him and Tzuna. Kyra had joined her as she felt the fear within her. 'Don't worry Mica. We'll find them both.' Her voice didn't sound reassuring to Mica as she continued to look around the ground.

Caleb woke up groggily. "Where am I?" he asked. He tried to pull his arms from above his head but realized that both his hands and feet were tied to the wall. "This is just great." he said. "Tzuna where are you?" he asked. Until now he hadn't felt that black hole in his head and heart, but now it was there engulfing everything.

"Kyra I can't find any sign." Mica told the great panther. Kyra looked at her then nuzzled her hand with her head. "Mica...reach out and try to connect through your bond." Mica nodded as she stilled her rapidly beating heart and took a deep breath. She reached out across time and space as she tried to feel Caleb. 'Caleb. Caleb. Can you hear me. Where are you? Help me. Give me a direction...anything.'

Caleb felt a strange thing as something brushed against his mind. He instantly pulled away, but before that he screamed out, "Let me out of this cell!" with his mind. He hoped that if it was whoever or whatever had kidnapped him they'd let him speack and hopefully if it was Mica then it was her only clue.

Doug rose from his sleep as he sensed that something was very wrong. He walked out to where Mica was supposed to be posted. She wasn't there. It was still very dark out and Doug noticed that Caleb was not at his bed. "Something is terribly wrong, I can't find Mica or Caleb anywhere." Doug said to Salgou. "We must search for them, leave the others be we cannot afford a ruckus right now." With that they left scouriging through the woods. "Salgou I need your eyes" Doug said as they walked. Dougs eyes widened and he could see everything clearly. He saw a shadow in the distance that looked like Mica. "Mica! Mica! Is that you? Are you ok? What is the going on? I feel something is very wrong!"

Mica turned to Doug. "It's Caleb. I lost him. I felt him as he left to search out a presence then he was gone. Help me look." She returned to her mind as she reached out to Caleb. She felt as if a veil was around her bond to him. She felt the power within her surge as she tried to break the veil.

She felt the call from deep within the cave. It touched her mind as she walked in the darkened woods. She ran in to find a man hanging on the wall by his wrists. “What? Are you ok? Of course you’re not okay. Hang on I’ll get you down.” She looked around as she found a large rock. She lifted it and hit the shackles binding him. The shackles broke as she reached out to catch him. “Let’s get you out of here quick.” She looked at him with her deep green eyes as she pushed her long black strands from her face. She took him by the hand and quickly led him from the cave, through the forest and into a clearing. She felt around her and found the area to be free from threat. She turned to look at the man as she breathed fast. "Are you alright?" Her deep green eyes studied him as she spoke. "What is your name?"

"I'm Caleb." he said between gasps. This girl was new to him, but as he felt her mind it was like a sunny day, but as he probed, the sun was covered by clouds then she forced him out. "What's your name?" he asked, pulling his hand away from this strange woman.

She looked at him, studying him for a moment. “Eavan.” She told him as she worked to catch her breath. “What happened? I heard your call in my mind. It was so strong that I couldn’t ignore it.” She sat on the ground and removed her boot turning it over. A small pebble fell out of it. “How in the world do you think rocks get into your boots? Shoes I can understand but boots?” She smiled softly at him as she stared at him, holding him within her green eyes.

Eavan smiled. “Well we better get you out of here. It’s not safe in these woods…for either of us.” She put her boot back on and started to stand. From out of nowhere a dark figure brandishing a large curved blade pounced on her. Eavan lay on the ground, unable to catch her breath as the figure sat on top of her with the knife at her throat.

Doug could not feel Calebs presence as he searched around. "I don't know what could have happened to him" Doug said nervously to Salgou. "I do know that mind searching is not going to work, there is some sort of power guarding his ora. Salgou, lets you and I start searching in separate directions for any sign of Caleb. Mica....Mica......Mica!" Doug said as she was so content on searching for him. He went up to her and touched her shoulder lightly. "Mica I know you want to find him, but mind searching is not going to work with him now. Come on with me and we will search for him."

Mica started at Doug's touch upon her shoulder she thought she had felt Caleb momentarily then she lost him again. "I think you're right Doug." she told him as she grew more worried. She stood. "Well have to do this the old fashioned way. Fan out and leave nothing unturned."

Doug used his eyes as he searched for any clues as to where Calbe might have gone. Finally he came to an area of leaves that had been disturbed, as well as a torn shirt on a limb of a tree. "Mica Mica, come over here, is this calebs shirt? And this area looks like it was been walked on recently!"

Mica ran to where Doug indicated. "Yes," she told him breathing hard. "That is from his shirt. Good job Doug. Fan out and keep looking." Mica squatted to the ground as she began to survey the area. She saw the trampled leaves that Doug had seen and she moved forward to the area. She leaned down to the leaves and smelled them. It was Caleb's scent. "We're getting closer!" she told him.

Doug continued to search as he heard Mica, "Yea I can feel that we are." He said as he continued to follow the trail
