Doug followed Mica as they jump onto the crowded street. He stayed close so they wouldn't get broken up. He still wasn't sure what was going on, but someone was near them, following them closely, and they needed to get somewhere safe.

As Mica and Doug ran, Adrian's face kep appearing everywhere they looked. It was like he was everywhere at one time.

Mica felt the man everywhere she turned. She held Doug's sleeve as she cut through the sea of people and headed across a dark alley. She needed to get to the central courtyard. It was private and where they could bond with their guides.

Doug ran through the crowd of people, continuing to feel this odd presence all around him. "Who is this man, he is everywhere we turn." They made a sharp cut into a dark alley. He knew exactly what they were doing. They were going to merge with there partners. "Salgou you ready?". Doug thought to himself. "Always, this will be our toughest fight yet" Salgou told Doug.

As the two entered the alley, Adrian appeared a short ways in front of them. "Stop. I only want to talk." Mica and doug turned the other way and were faced with a woman dressed in a black dress. Her eyes were also red. She looked som much like the man, they could have been twins. "Going somewhere?"

Mica pulled Doug close to her. She looked from the man to the woman. "What is it you want? Who are you?"

Ariadne watched the pair intently. "My darling brother just wants a ...word with you my dear. Nothing to fret your pretty little head about. Ariadne walked up to Mica. She ran her hand from her shoulder over the front of her chest as she made her way to Adrian.

Mica stared the woman down. She didn't move an inch as the woman tried to intimidate her. "I think maybe it's you who should be worried!" She looked to the man. "Tell me what it is you want. Now!"

Doug stepped in fron of Mica as the strange woman in the black dress trapped us from behind and the guy in front. "we can't let our guard down Mica," he whispered under his breath, "they look very dangerous". "Salgou I really need your help, where are you". Doug said as he hightened his senses preparing for a fight.

Adrian just continued smiling, "As I said, I just wanted to...chat. You see, we are just...like..you. We have spirit animals too. I merely was going to talk when you two took off running. I am Adrian and this is my sister Ariadne."

Mica stepped across from Doug. If they wanted a showdown, Doug and she would need room. She looked intently into Adrian's eyes. Something about them drew her in. They were mesmerizing. His voice had a dreamy quality in her ears. She moved closer to him.

Adrian smiled as the girl was drawn towards him, "You see, We have spirit animals just like you and we have been bonded for a very long time. We could make such a strong team!"

Doug grabbed Mica's arm as she seemed to be transfixed him his gaze slowly walking towards him. "Mica! He cried eagerly, "what are you doing! You are stronger than this, pull it together and snap out of it. Tap into Kyra's strength!" "You can do this" he held her tightly as she tried to draw near the stranger.

Mica heard Doug but he sounded so very far away. She felt the pull of this man stronger than any she had felt before. She struggled against Doug's hold as she raised her hand out to the dark man.

Ariadne began to speak to Doug in the same dreamy quality as Adrian. She looked into his eyes trying to hold his gaze. Slowly she moved to him. "We are not so different. We have the same needs, the same wants, the same desires. She moved closer to Doug.

Adrian reached out and took Mica's hand. He pulled her gently in, wrapping her in an embrace. "You have made an excellent choice!" As he finished his sentence, Ranus crawled and stung Mica with a sleeping poison. Knocking her unconcious.

Mica felt herself being drawn into the stranger's embrace. She knew he was dark, evil but she could not resist the strange hold he seemed to have on her. She heard Doug behind her but couldn't turn to him. There was something about the man, he was seducing her but she felt powerless against him. She couldn't even reach out to Kyra or Caleb.
She felt Adrian's hot breath on her cheek. He was stunning as she looked at his features. His dark hair blew slightly but there was no breeze in the alley. His eyes were hypnotic. His gaze made her feel like hands were upon her. She closed her eyes then quickly opened them as she felt a sting upon her. Quickly she felt the effects of the poison. Her heart was racing at the closeness of him, the feel of him. The poison spread quickly throughout her. In a far off place in her mind she called out to Doug. 'Get out of here. Find Caleb. Get help.' She felt darkness come over her as her body began to fall and she was gone. Unconscious.

Ariadne smiled as she glanced briefly at Adrian. She reached out touching his mind. 'Take her quickly while I deal with this one. If I can enchant him I shall follow behind you, if not...' She smiled evilly as she set back to work on Doug. 'Adrian...Do not hurt her...yet. You may do whatever else you wish but do not injure her.'
Ariadne continued to speak her enchanted words to Doug. Her hands stroking gently upon his chest and his shoulders as she tried to seduce him into submission. She smiled softly as she looked into his eyes. "Come with me Doug. I could show you such things. Ways to wield your powers such as you have never imagined." Her hands moved slowly down, resting upon his waist as she moved closer to him still. "Forget your friend. She will be fine with Adrian. Come with me. I will show you pleasure beyond where your wildest desires have taken you."

Doug was trying to resist so hard, his mind was wandering all over the place as she moved ever so closer to him. He was unable to move, unable to get out of her tantalizing gaze. "Forget your friend" she said as she continued to seduce him. Suddenly he snapped with great courage and said "Forget my friend?! Forget Mica?!!" "Never!!!!!" He snapped out of her gaze with such force and pulled backward. He heard Micas voice in the back of his mind saying "Run away Doug, go find help". He would not leave her though, he may never find her again. "Salgou.....I need you!!!" Suddenly like a bolt of lightening, Salgou appeared to Doug as they joined as one. Ready to fight these evil beings. "Salgou, I am so glad you came, I was a gonner." "I felt your distress, Doug. Nothing could keep me from you. I came as fast as I could". "Thank you Salgou," Doug said. Then with one voice together they said "Now, bring it on you tantalizing freak!!".
