"Caleb!" Jen cried as she ran to check on him. Before she got close, however, Tyerra lept up behind her and pulled her back.
Didn't you hear what Tzuna just said?! The snake turned its head and began to slither toward Jen and Tyerra. Tyerra jumped into Jen and the two joined together. Jen was covered in black and white fur and she looked like the two of them at the same time. They ran away from the serpent and back to the cave as fast as possible before they separated again. Jen looked at Tyerra.
"Okay...that was kind of weird," she said. She looked out at the lake, worried about Caleb.

"Jen, run!" Caleb called. Tzuna ran fast and right at Caleb's chest. She merged with him and Caleb jumped up. He had snow white fur covering his body, a long snout, a tail, and four paws full of sharp nails. "Are you ready?" they both cried at the same time. Caleb lunged for the snake, and his claws caught the eye of the serpent. He swung down and sunk his teeth into the serpents neck before Tzuna could warn him. The snake fell to the ground, limp and lifeless. "Some one come help him quick! The snake's blood is posionous!" Tzuna screamed, demerging herself from Caleb. Caleb fell quick, gasping for air, having spasms the whole time.

Mica sensed that Caleb was in trouble. Their connection was very strong and she wasn’t sure why. She sprang to her feet and ran from the cave down to the lake with amazing speed. As she reached Caleb she turned him over on his side as his body convulsed. She could her him wheezing as he gasped for breath. His airways constricted in reaction to the snake’s venom. Soon they would collapse completely and he would die. She reached into the side pocket on her pants and pulled out her epi pen. Pulling the cap off with her teeth she stuck the pen into Caleb’s leg and injected the medicine. Sweat formed on her brow as she waited to see if it would work.

Caleb's body stopped convulsing slowly as the medicine took effect. Caleb stopped breathing for a moment, then, "I didn't know an epi pen could save me from snake venom." he said.

Mica laughed as she looked at him. She slugged him in the arm. "The snake's venom was shutting down your respiratory system. It was also slowing your heart. You looked like I do when I get stung by a bee or bitten by a fire ant, so I took a chance. You were already dying so what was it gonna do? Kill you?" She moved to help him sit up. "Are you feeling alright? And don't ever bite a snake again idiot!" She slugged him again and then pulled him tightly in her embrace. She whispered in his ear. "You are my best friend in either world and I don't want to loose you."

Jen ran back after Mica and arrived soon after she had treated him. She knelt down beside him.
"Are you okay, Caleb?" she asked anxiously.

Doug leaped up when he saw Mica jump up and depart from where she was sitting beside him, "Something is terribly wrong" Salgou and Doug thought, "We need to follow and find out what is the matter". Doug and Salgou jumped to their feet and merged running as fast as they could to keep up with the ever so increasing speed of Mica. They finally got to the place where Mica was to see Caleb convulsing on the ground from biting a snake. Mica took an epi pen and injected him. After a few minutes Caleb finally came to and stopped convulsing. "Man I thought you were a gonner" Doug replied out of breath. "We can't have that now can we?" "Lets not bite anymore snakes!".

Skot picked up Jenus and walked calmly to where everyone else was gathered around caleb. Skot looked down at Caleb. Jenus slithered down and seemed to sniff a little of the blood that was on Caleb's face, "It was a bad venom but he probably would have pulled through. It would have only lasted for a few more minutes anyways," Jenus said matter-of-factly.

Archer watched as Mica recovered and then soon she took off again.
This is exciting.He told Hermes with a bored and sarcastic look.
Be patient.Hermes advised.
Suddenly, Archer's hearing perked up as he heard the commotion outside. Going with the others, he spotted Caleb being stabbed with a pen by Mica. He soon realized what she was doing and went down for a closer look.
"You all right, dude?" Archer asked Caleb.

"Yeah I'm allright, and I won't have to worry about biting that snake anymore." he laughed. He tried to get up, but he was so weak from the venom, he couldn't.

Doug reached over and grabbed Caleb by the arm as he began to fall back down "Wow, my reflexes are getting good" Doug said eagerly "Well, what do you expect "I" am your spirit animal, would you expect any less!" Salgou laughingly said. Doug laughed and carried clab back to the cave.

Skot took caleb under the other arm and helped Doug carry caleb back to the cave. Jenus slithered along beside Skot. "Skot. Have Caleb eat some of that plant. It will help hi get some strength back," Jenus said as he pointed with his tail at a small glossy plnt. SKot reached down and picked a handful of leaves. "Here. Eat some of this. You will feel better in a few minutes."

Doug thought it was very strange for someone to eat leaves but didn't say a word. He stopped and watched as Skot handed Caleb the leaves while everyone watched curiously.

"Many natural plants have medicinal properties. I know of a few but that on was new to me. Jenus told me about it," Skot said to the other guy carrying Caleb.
