Bruce smiled, nodding. "She is," he said. "And it's nice to meet you, Kia. I just wish she would have been as easy going as you when we first met. I was lucky I didn't get jumped!" He laughed, motioning to Kia to follow Mica first.

Kia smiled at him as she followed the woman into the house. “Just make yourself at home the woman who lives here is busy.” She turned to look at the newest arrivals. “My name is Mica. The naked guy is Doug, the others are Eavan and Caleb.”
Kia began to say something and then stopped as Mica walked toward the room where the others were. She stood, shifting her weight back and forth as she looked at Bruce. “Well…ya.” She said as she smiled softly. “You wanna sing?”
Mica walked back into the room looking at Doug and the others. "We have more guests." She told them as she eyed Doug still sitting naked on the bed.

Bruce smiled at Kia, his eyes alight with interest. "I uh. . . can't sing very well," he said, shifting his feet as Kia looked at him, blushing slightly.

Doug looked at the new characters Mica brought back with her. "You always have a habit of bringing back "new friends"." Doug said smiling as he new they noticed he was naked. "Excuse my....appearance," He said coyly, "We were just having a bit of fun."
OOC: Why am I on the BED naked? lol

OOC: Because that is where Caleb carried Eavan to and laid her down before they started playing cards! lol Kia laughed. “I was just kidding.” She heard Doug apologize for his nudity but she didn’t believe that he really cared. She turned her head to look at Bruce. “Would you like to take a walk?” Mica looked at Doug. She grinned as she shook her head. “Doug you are odd man out. You have a choice. Stay here as a third wheel or come with me.” She loosened the buttons on her shirt, opening it low to reveal her ample cleavage. “I also have a deck of cards if you are interested.” She leaned forward, her hands on his thighs as she whispered in his ear. She drew back with a coy look on her face. “What do you say? Interested?”

Bruce smiled at the odd group, then looked at Kia with an emphatic nod. "I would love to," he said as he took her hand and led them outside. "I'm sorry. They're are just a little strange. I think I'll have to get used to them. Shall we?" He motioned forward, into the forest. He didn't even realize he was still holding her hand as he began walking.

Kia grinned as she moved with him into the forest. He had a hold of her hand but she didn’t try to take it back. “I think they are quite…interesting.” She walked with him under the light of the full moon, steeling glances as they moved throughout the forest. “So. Tell me about you.”

Bruce shrugged at Kia's simple question, unsure what he could say. "What do you want to know?" he asked in return, smiling over at her and finally realizing he was holding her hand. She hadn't tried to pull it away and he was beginning to like her, so he did not let go. "I grew up on a farm with my mother and father, went to college for a while before my dad got cancer and passed away from it. Soon after, my mother passed as well. I've spend the last few years just wandering around, getting an odd job here and there, just enough to sustain me. Ever since I had to leave the farm, I've never found a place I could call home. What about you?"

Kia listened intently to Bruce as he spoke. Her eyes kept traveling between the ground before her and his intriguing eyes. She smiled as he asked about her. “Me?” She moved to sit next to the gently running stream on a fallen tree. “I have nothing remarkable I’m afraid. I grew up in the city but my heart was born of the country. I was raised within the faith of my parents, attended schools of that faith and abandoned them both for the love of a man.” She turned her eyes to the flowing waters running beside them. “In hindsight it was…not the path that I should have chosen but at the time I thought that I was in love. Now I see it was more…trying to escape what I thought was my parents attempts to control me.”
She turned her eyes back to look into his as she smiled faintly. “I returned to my path and went back to school while I worked many jobs. I became a nurse and worked in a hospital in New Orleans. It was in the inner city and I saw much. Killae found me at my darkest hour, bringing back to me the light and beauty in all around me. It’s easy to get lost in the darkness and sorrow around you. I lost sight of the good and the beauty of all things. Now, once again, I see both sometimes in balance sometimes not. I travel, taking assignments in many cities. There you have it. The story that is me in a nut shell.”
Kia turned as a small fawn approached the stream cautiously. She smiled, holding her hand to the youngling and it approached her. She laughed softly as it sniffed her hand then skittered back into the forest. Smiling, she turned her eyes back to the man beside her. She felt his quiet strength and his gentle spirit.

Bruce smiled warmly at Kia as she spoke her life story, nodding at her wise comments. "Yes," he said, taking a breath as he sat down beside her. "I can understand that. I've had times of darkness when I saw no light in the future, no hope for happiness or joy or anything but pain and sorrow. Although I can see it now, distantly on the horizon, I still have a hard time. The sun never seems to rise and the horizon remains beyond my reach." He paused for a moment to smile at Kia before continuing. "Tell me about Killae. He sounds like he's a good man. Or is he your spirit guide?"

Kia listened intently feeling a sadness within him. “The sun always rises.” She told him as she moved closer to him. “You have but to open your eyes and feel its warmth upon you. As for the horizon being out of your reach…you must keep reaching. You will never reach it till you draw your last breath but if you stop trying you will miss the many wondrous things that come along with the journey.” She squeezed his hand as she spoke then laughed as he asked about Killae. “Killae is my spirit guide. She is there with the fawn.” Kia pointed to a doe nuzzling the fawn that had come to her moments before.

Bruce hid his face, slightly embarrassed. "Oh," he said with a small smile. "She's beautiful. Gallea, my spirit guide, is wandering around here somewhere. It's amazing how hard it is to find him sometimes considering his size."

Kia nodded. “Killae is the same. If I need her though she is there without hesitation. She has been the steady unwavering light in my life. I thank the heavens for her every day.” She looked at him feeling the awkward silence setting in. Her hand moved to brush the hair from her face, hooking it behind her ear as she smiled at him softly.

Bruce smiled at Kai, staring into her eyes. "Gallea is always there if I need him," he said. "But he's a free spirit and likes to wander. Ah! There he is!" He pointed to the massive horse as he walked through the trees, his body muscular and swift in the eerie light.

Kia looked to where Bruce indicated. “He is beautiful.” She told him softly. She watched the large horse move with beauty and grace through the trees.
