Mica rose silently. She moved from the room after feeling Archer open the door. He hadn't seen her in Doug's bed in her room. "Archer?" she spoke in a whisper. "I hope you don't mind but we put a new guest in the loft. Doug is in the spare bed in the room with me. The new man's name is Skot." She smiled softly as she returned to the living room. She walked through the door and sat on the balcony. The tide was rolling in softly, caressing the beach below. The wind gently blew her hair as she caught the strands and hooked them behind her ear.

Doug finished up his shower then walked in the living and sat on the couch after fixing a cup of coffee. Salgou jumped on the couch and laid his head on Dougs lap as he fell asleep. Doug opened a magazine and began to read.

Mica smiled as she leaned her head back against the house. She felt Doug close as she slowly ran her fingers on the ring suspended from the chain around her neck. 'Man I would love a beer.' she thought. She rose and walked back into the house as she saw the others gathering on the couches. "Hey Archer, Doug where did the others get away to?" She took a sip from her beer as she looked at the two. "Anyone else want one?" she asked holding up the beer.

Mica went back into the kitchen and grabbed a beer for Doug. She walked back and tossed it to him.

Mica moved to sit next to Doug. She placed her hand on his leg as she leaned her head back on the couch. She held the beer within her hand, resting on her leg. "What's up Doug?" she said as she smiled softly at him.
