"No" Archer said at the same time Lana said "Yes." Lana gave him an annoyed look. "We're not staying long." He told Jen. "Jace...is that how you treat your girlfriend?" "Funny, I thought we broke up when you disappeared." He replied with anger. Lana shrugged and placed her arms around his neck. "I thought we could just pick up where we left off." Archer pulled her arms off of him. "More like you're running and you need a place to hide out. Forget it, Lana. I'm done being used." He grabbed the folder of papers he needed off of one of the desks and walked out. "Let's go Jen. I got what I needed." "Jace...Archer! Come on!" Lana called out after him, but he wouldn't listen. She fumed slightly as she exited, watching Archer's back walk off. I told you it wasn't a good idea. Lana shot a dirty look at Rafe, who was hiding under the desk, watching the whole scene. This was far better than the alternative. Hurry and catch up with him...we need a place to lie low or else that crazy Irish casino owner finds us. Lana groaned, knowing that there was a price on her head. "Jace! Wait!" She ran after him. "Okay so I admit...I need a place to crash...just for awhile, okay? I'll be out in 2 days, tops." She reasoned with him.
Archer looked at her with an unbelieving look. "I knew it. the answer is no!" He looked at Jen again. "Ready to go?"

Mica heard Calebs words in her head but she heard something else from deeper. "Doug...I don't know.." She reached out and took the ring from him. She took the gold chain from around her neck. She placed the ring on the chain and sat up. She handed the chain to Doug and turned her back to him. She lifted her hair and waited for him to put it on her.

Jen watched the two with their argument, not exactly believing what she was seeing. Her head moved from one person to the other like she was watching a violent ping pong game. When Archer finally turned his attention back to her, she nodded. "Yeah, ready when you are." ~~~~~ Veronica heard some angry voices inside and sneaked around to get a look. She saw the guy that Jennifer was with arguing with some chick. She overheard that she needed a place to crash for a while. What do you think, Bas? she asked, Maybe we could use this to our advantage. Fine, do what you want. Just make sure we get to that man's house tonight. Veronica waited casually outside to watch for their exits.

"I'm ready now." Archer told Jen. Lana pulled on Archer's hand, which made him pause for a moment. "Please. Archer." She looked at him with sad eyes, knowing he usually gave in when she did so.
Archer shook his head to himself. "Unbelievable. You never give up do you?" "Just do me this favor okay? and I promise I'll be out of your life after." Archer sighed, contemplating. "You must be in deep trouble if you're coming to me." Lana didn't respond. "Fine. Follow me to the house." "I think I remember where it is." "I moved." He snapped at her. "Here, Jen." He unlocked the helmet from the seat and handed it to her. "I see you upgraded from the 550cc. You should try a Ducati...I know you'll like those." Lana pointed at the bike, trying to get to Archer's better half. "Just follow us, all right?" "Yeah. Thanks, Jace." Archer waved her off and sat on the bike. He waited for Jen to hop on as he started it.

Jen grabbed the helmet and jumped on behind Archer. They didn't realize as they left that there was a car casually following them to the house. When they arrived, the car didn't even slow, cruising right past. But inside, Veronica made special note of the exact location of the house.

He sighed with relief as he put the necklace on her. "I promise I will never let anything happen to you or I. We must stick together always. Together we can do anything, and this ring is a token of my promise with you." "I know that we've only known each other for a few days, but I feel something for you, something I cannot explain with words. How about this?" He gave her a gentle kiss on her cheek.

Mica touched her hand to her cheek where he had kissed her. "Oh Doug." She took a deep breath and kissed him on the lips.

"Mica" Doug said softly as he let her lips touch his once more. The love he had for her had been transfered into the ring, never to let them be parted. They lay back down on the bed.

Archer parked the bike into the driveway and allowed Lana's car to pull up too. I'm going to head out Lana. Let me know if you need me. Rafe told her and went back to the spirit world before Archer or anyone else noticed him, even though they didn't know he existed yet. See ya later, Rafe. Lana petted him before he disappeared. Letting Jen get off, Archer led the two girls inside the house. "Planning a party?" Lana asked as she noticed the bags and all sorts of items around the house. "Its a get together with some friends." "And you didn't invite me?" Lana feigned a hurt look. "The rooms are all taken. You can use my room." He told her. "Really?" A sly look on her face appeared. "You staying in there too?" Archer rolled his eyes. "i'll take the couch." "Well, that's not nearly as fun." She pouted. "Well, I'll go ahead and..." She didn't finish her sentence because she spotted Hermes fluttered into the room. An animal spirit? She hid her shock. Is this who i think it is? Hermes asked once he spotted Lana. She's staying for a bit. Is that a good idea? I mean...your feelings for her are still str- It's fine. There's nothing there anymore. I'm just glad she can't see you. This is your call...I just hope she doesn't get curious...
Archer glanced at Lana as she hid her ability to see the animal. She would have to let Rafe know, but in the meantime, she whould have to keep her mouth shut.
"Which one is your room, Jace? I think I'm gonna hit the sac." Lana told him, faking a tired look. He instructed her where and she took off. "Nice meeting you, Jen." Lana called behind her as she left.
Sighing, Archer rubbed his face and then looked at Jen. "Sorry about that...she really surprised me today." His face looked somber.

Jen smiled and shook her head slightly. "It's okay. I really never expected to meet an old...girlfriend of yours. Especially not like this. Anyway, I guess I better let Tyerra know I'm back." She took off in the direction of her room.

Archer nodded and then scoffed at himself. "Yeah...neither did I." He mumbled as Jen ran off to see Tyerra.
*** Lana laid down on Archer's bed, staring at the ceiling. Oddly enough, she felt safe; a feeling she hadn't felt for a long time. Rolling to her side, she contemplated on her life and of Jason. Old memories die hard... She thought as he eyes caught on something on his dresser. Getting up, she saw a familiar looking book. Curious, she picked the book up. " The Sun Also Rises" Lana read out loud and couldn't help but smile. It was her favorite.
Flipping through it, she happened to stop on one page. "You can't get away from yourself by moving from one place to another." The words popped out of the page at her. Frowning, she was about to toss the book when she noticed something sticking out of the back. Flipping to it, she saw an old photo of her and Jason. Her finger stroked the image; Jason was looking to the left, smiling, while Lana was behind him with her arms over his neck. She smiled at the picture, recalling the day it was taken. Sighing her fingers grazed over the last few lines of the book: Oh, Jake,” Brett said, “we could have had such a d**ned good time together.” Ahead was a mounted policeman in khaki directing traffic. He raised his baton. The car slowed suddenly pressing Brett against me. “Yes,” I said. “Isn't it pretty to think so?” Slamming the book shut, she felt like the character Jake in the novel: alone and without happiness. "Too many 'what ifs'" She said to herself before lying back on the bed, book in hand, and closing her eyes, she fell asleep.
*** Archer wandered around the house, not knowing what to do. He wondered where everyone ran off to; it was unusually quiet for such a large group.

Jen sat quietly on her bed, Tyerra lying next to her. She was bothered by the sudden appearance of Archer's old girlfriend. She didn't trust her. Something about the way Archer reacted to her... Jen gave a sudden gasp as an unexplained feeling came over her. What is it? Tyerra asked, concerned. I don't know...I just felt like someone just walked over my grave, she said. ~~~~~ Agent Morran was standing before the screen getting his intructions from General Cranston. "You're first assignment is relatively simple. A sixteen year old girl." The picture of a young girl popped up next to the image of the general. "Name: Jennifer. We don't have a last name yet. You must bring this girl to us. We need to question her. She is with a group of these religious fanatics, so be on your guard." Jennifer? Edward thought as he stared at the picture. Something about her was vaugely familiar. "Yes sir," he said and the image faded.

Doug woke up next to Mica, her smooth hair against his face. He looked at the necklace with his ring on it as he gently stroked her face and kissed her cheek before getting up, changing into some clean clothes and went into the bathroom. OOC: Lol that is what I always do when I wake up...seriously .

OOC: it's the next day already? I had plans for tonight! lol, oh well. I guess the next night will work just as well. I just have to give an excuse why Veronica didn't come tonight.

OOC: Yeah. already? I thought it was still in the afternoon? lol Just have her peeping, Jeriah. lol.
Archer noted the time and so he went upstairs to his room to grab his some blankets and a pillow. He walked down the hall and noticed that Mica's room was empty. Curious he looked around...and then he stumbled on the idea. "Oh great..." He stared at the room that Doug was in. Sighing, he went further down the hall and gently opened the door to find Lana asleep.
A wave of emotions hit him like a tsunami as he watched her sleep; breathing in and out silently. Noticing that she wasn't in the covers, he quietly walked over. Taking the book carefully out of her hands, he stared at it for a moment before placing it back onto the dresser, he took her in his arms. Lana mumbled something incoherently as her arms went around his neck. "Shh...it'll be cold tonight..." He whispered gently. He flipped the blankets aside and placed her back down, removing her arms from his neck. "Jason?" She mumbled, slightly awake now. "Shh. Go to bed." He knelt beside her as he brought the covers around her. "I missed you." She murmured before drifting off again. A smile crept on his lips as he stood back up. He grabbed a change of clothes, a pillow, and a blanket and headed out. As he closed the door behind him, he whispered, "I missed you too." and then went downstairs to sleep.
*** Next day...lol.
Archer laid bare chested and in basketball shorts on one of the couches, sleeping soundly, with a blanket over him.
