Nearly a thousand years have come and gone since a young farmboy named Eragon found a blue dragon egg in the wild. A thousand years since he and Saphira bonded. Galbatorix has long been defeated, and now the Riders have grown in numbers.
Eragon has re-established the Rider's training academy on the island of Vroengard. He has rebuilt the city of Doru Araeba, which is now a bustling economy. As more dragons hatch for people all over Alagaesia, Eragon sends out the Ebrithils of the Academy to find them and bring them to Vroengard to properly train.
