Bruce stopped before he reached the door, looking up at the much friendlier looking people. "Hello," he said. "My name is Bruce. This is Gallea. Uh...as you can see. I'm slightly confused here."

Mica looked at Bruce. She smiled. "Hey!" she said to him. She reached out her hand to greet him. "Sorry Bruce. This is all confusing. That's why I didn't bring Kyra to meet you." She moved closer to Bruce, her blue eyes looking intently at him.

Bruce was lost in the woman's eyes, something in them calming him. He smiled easily, taking her hand in greeting, holding on slightly longer than normal. "Thank you for the sensitivity. The other one wasn't so...courteous." He motioned back to Gallea. "Something just told me to get between the horse and the snake. Don't know what it was, just that it did. Then words just started coming out of my mouth." He looked down at the ground, slight confused, then back up into her eyes, smiling.

Mica looked to Caleb. 'I'm taking him out of her for awhile. We'll meet up with you later.' she said touching his mind. She looked at Bruce again. "Would you like to go somewhere and talk? Just the two of us?" She smiled as he still held her hand.

Bruce smiled at her, holding her hand softly. His calloused his brushed against her soft hands, making him look past her to the outside. "Uh...sure," he said, leading the way to the back side of the barn. He stopped near a stack of hay bales, pulling a large bundle to sit on. "Care for a seat? I can pull one over for you."

Mica sat next to him on the bale of hay. "Thanks but this will do unless you think I am too big for both of us to sit on it." She smiled as she looked at him with a raised eyebrow.

Bruce smiled at her, shaking his head. "You know I don't think that," he said, looking into her sweet eyes. "This is strange. I feel like I've known you for a long time, yet we just met, quite literally, a few minutes ago. I don't even know your name." He leaned forward, his elbows on his knees as he looked at the ground, thinking. The horse had not followed him, but could feel it close by.

Mica smiled as he answered her well. She looked into his eyes as she felt something familiar about him. Like something from her past but yet different. She brushed her black hair away from her face, hooking it behind her ear. "My name is Mica. I feel something when I look at you too. Just like you describe." She reached out absently taking his hand within hers not even realizing she had done it.

Bruce smiled over at her, holding her hand tenderly in his hand. He felt himself scooting closer to her, the gap between them growing smaller. "Thank you, Mica," he said softly, barely a whisper, before his voice failed and he couldn't look at her anymore. "You probably think me strange, or stupid, for acting like this. I always say that it shouldn't matter what people think of you. That your friends, your true friends, will understand and the others don't matter. But I'm not so sure anymore."

Mica looked at him, moving closer to him. "I do not think you're strange Bruce. I think you are fascinating." She reached up to touch his cheek softly. "And you don't need to thank me for anything."

Bruce turned to look into her eyes again, feeling something. He couldn't understand it, didn't want to. They had just met, how could this be happening? He smiled, putting his other hand over hers, closing his eyes for but a second. "Yes I do," he said, opening his eyes again. "This is all sudden and strange. I go into my barn to find my three horses gone and some huge horse who talks! On top of it, some guy walks in with his pet snake and keeps pushing me for something! Now, I'm sitting on a hay bale with a beautiful woman I just met, wanting to kiss her!" He cut himself off, realizing he was speaking his mind aloud as he normally did when he was off herding the cattle. He looked away, at the ground, as he cheeks blushed.

Mica put her hand under his chin and turned his face back toward her. She leaned close to him and kissed him softly on the lips. She pulled back slightly as she looked into his eyes. She saw something very familiar in them. "I'm sorry Bruce. That was very forward of me." Her lips were still close to him.

Bruce looked into her eyes, her lips so close he could feel her breathing against his skin. He smiled, putting a hand on her cheek. "Don't apologize," he said. He held her gaze, not wanting to look away. Slowly, he pressed his lips to hers, feeling the soft taste. He closed his eyes, kissing her slowly, softly.

Mica felt herself closing the gap between them. Before she knew it he was in her arms on the ground behind the hay bales. She kissed him as a long buried memory tried to stir within her mind. She ignored it as she felt the feel of him against her.

Bruce could hardly believe what was happening. But he didn't mind. He smiled, kissing her softly, but growing more passionately. He felt a need to feel her skin against his rise, causing him to stop. He felt something in his mind stir, something he had never noticed before. He sat up, his back against the hay bale, looking at her. "What's happening?" he asked, somewhat stunned, but happy. He pulled her close to him, feeling her body resting against his. "I'm not sure what it is, but..." He let his words trail off.
